We hope you have enjoyed your week. It was beautiful to see so many happy faces in person and online from our scholars. If your scholar is returning to campus, they will need to begin bringing their MCA laptop to school each day. We have records of each MCA loaned laptop and will assist Mr. Burkett in accounting for these laptops.
During May, our scholars will be compiling end-of-year assessments in all grades. All scholars need to arrive at school and online on time. We are closing out the school year strong, and scholars still need to be active and lifelong learners. Our 3rd and 4th-grade Scholars will be taking their EOG in Reading and Math on May 18th and 19th.
We are currently accepting donations to provide to the Community Shelter of Union County until Friday, April 30, 2021. We need paper towels, napkins, deodorant, shampoo, bath towels (thinner for hotel use), canned soup, vienna sausages, beanie weenies, and canned tuna.
Please mark your calendars for our May Board of Directors’ meeting, Monday, May 10, 2021, at 6:30pm.
Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook at Monroe Charter Academy to stay updated on the most current news and events at MCA.
