About Us:
Monroe Charter Academy (Academy) is a charter school located in Monroe, North Carolina serving the children of Union and surrounding counties. We opened in August 2019 in facilities at 200 Tomberlin Street in Monroe.
The Academy is managed by a board of directors and authorized by the NC State Board of Education. We are a free public school, open to all NC students, offering a classical style of education, a rigorous curriculum, and a focus on our three core values.
